Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto

Nestled in a 12th-century, Shakusuien ikeniwa (pond garden), just minutes from downtown and surrounded by centuries of history, is a modern oasis of serenity and style: Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto.

For the Brasserie deck at the water's edge, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto opted for our collection Mood designed by Studio Segers. The Mood armchair creates a sophisticated dining area outdoors, while the club chair and sofa accommodate comfortable lounge areas.

From the expansive windows one can enjoy the four distinct and highly photogenic seasons – spring cherry blossoms, swaying bamboo in summer, brilliant red autumn leaves, and the blanket of winter snow – Kyoto is known for.

Kyoto is one of Japan's best-preserved historic cities, with intact palaces, gardens, 1600 Buddhist temples and 400 Shinto shrines, among them 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites from Imperial Japan's golden age.

Today, Kyoto is also a forward-looking center for art and design, where artists and artisans update traditional techniques into super-cool works with the Zen spirit and the edge of now.
